Transitional Kindergarten
Welcome to the Transitional Kindergarten Program at Ascend to the Heights, a stepping stone in early childhood education that bridges the gap between preschool and kindergarten. Our TK program is specifically designed for children who are on the cusp of kindergarten age, providing them with an extra year of skill-building and preparation in a nurturing, structured environment.
Commonly known as TK, our program is designed for children who are not quite ready for Kindergarten. Our TK class will move at a slightly slower pace than the Kindergarten classes. In order to foster a sense of routine in a predictable environment, students in TK will remain in one classroom with their lead teacher. Students will engage in academic, social, and emotional preparation for Kindergarten.
In most cases, TK students will continue into regular kindergarten the following year.
